About Jason Hairston
After his tragic passing in 2018, KUIU founder Jason Hairston was diagnosed with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain disease caused by repeated hits to the head. Hairston’s brain trauma was sustained over many years on the football field.Brain injuries are invisible— but they have real consequences.
