Small Art deco sterling silver topped jewellery box featuring beautiful criss-crosses and stars formed out of cut glass. The top of the box is made from sterling silver in1925 as indicated by an Anchor, Lion and letter 'A' hallmarks. The makers mark is clearly visible 'WJM & Co'.

The box is beautiful and compact, it would be the perfect container for small items of jewellery. In the 1920s it would have lived on a ladies dressing table, filled with her favourite rouge or powder.

The box measures 3cm / 1.1" in diameter and 3.6cm / 1.4" in height.

CONDITION:
The box is in excellent condition. The silver lid is in excellent condition sitting securely on the glass pot.
