In late winter, just when you might be needing a little extra sunlight, this deciduous shrub comes through with fragrant and unusual flowers that bring a burst of golden color reminiscent of a beautiful sunrise. Great as a specimen or a hedge, this shrub is adorned with gold twice annually- bare branches are bedecked with flowers between January and March and the foliage turns a rich yellow in fall.
